As
a wedding photographer, I offer you a blend of the two styles most
popular today: traditional wedding photography and photo-journalistic
coverage of the event. In addition, I provide cutting edge post-production
services, which include digital special effects.
Traditional
wedding photography generally includes formally and informally posed
photographs of the bride and groom, their immediate families, and the
wedding party. It also includes "planned action shots"-those non-posed,
but anticipated shots of expected actions (such as the kiss, the bouquet
toss, the first dance). Traditional wedding photography remains popular
because it is carefully orchestrated to ensure that you get exactly
what you expect.
Photojournalism
has recently come into vogue for as an option for wedding photography.
The photographer "clicks away" throughout the festivities-as if covering
a news event-catching precious and unexpected moments (like the ring
bearer asleep under the head table). The
photo-journalistic method has become a popular technique for capturing
quality candid moments with minimal intrusion into the participants'
enjoyment of the day.
My own approach starts with traditional photography, which ensures that
you will receive the poses you expect. Throughout the day, I'll use
a second and sometimes a third camera to record all the activities around
me. The result will be a well balanced coverage of your special day.
